No. 129 of 150 numbered copies. Issued in portfolio, 6 ff. introductory
pamphlet and 50 ff. black-and-white glossy photographic plates laid rectos
within embossed panels, on Johannot wove paper (10-5/8 x 14-3/8 in.), in
a clamshell box (15-1/2 x 11-3/4 in.) covered in natural calfskin, the sides
and spine recessed within gilt-rolled framing borders, a cross within a
circle outlined in blind and gilt on front and rear, red inlaid panels sectioning
the cross on front, the spine in six compartments with inlaid red calf panels
for title, author and date, lettered in gilt. Staining and browning to blank
cover of introductory pamphlet, mild browning to paper support of first
plate, else fine.
