(half-title recto, list of works verso), 1 l. (title recto), 1 l. (dedication recto), 1 l. (contents recto), pp. [1]-480, [1 l.], with p.187 incorrectly numbered 871, p. 480 correctly numbered. Head of spine worn to top of first wavy line, tail chipped and bumped, worn spots at extremities of joints, along ridges of joints and at outer corners, very slight foxing on preliminary and last leaves, else very good, the covers, titling and decorations only minimally faded, the text pages clean and unblemished. Bookplates of A. Edward Newton (Oak Knoll, dated 1909) and Wilson W. Mills on front pastedown; bookseller’s catalogue entry tipped to front free endpaper. Cagle A10a.(1); Wise 15.
