Copy no. 25 of 25 Arabic-numbered (with 6 Roman-numbered) copies on Hollande, signed by Gide, after 5 on japon ancien and 19 on japon impérial, of the entire edition of 480 numbered copies (only the copies on japon and Hollande were signed). Wood-engraved frontispiece by Demetrios Galanis. Printed throughout in black and blue. Original beige wraps over self-covers, “Œdipe par André Gidé” printed in black on front wrap, spine lettered in black, entirely uncut and unopened. Collates [1 l. (self-cover)], [1 l.], 4 ll. (half-title and colophon, frontispiece plate, title, dedication and personages), pp. [13]-[126], 1 l. (colophon), [1 l.], [1 l. (self-cover)].
