Very slight marginal mat burn, otherwise fine condition. This outstanding image was taken during Porter’s first expedition to the Great Smoky Mountains National Part in October, 1967, repeated in 1968 and 1969 and embodied in his Appalachian Wilderness: The Great Smoky Mountains (1970).
