Large quarto (12-1/2 x 10 in.). No. 21 of 25 numbered copies with the plates on Japanese paper. Green morocco gilt ruled in panels, spine in six compartments with gilt paneling and lettering, gilt-ruled morocco dentelles, pale blue marbled endpapers, top edges gilt, others uncut, by Zaehnsdorf, 1895, its gilt stamps on lower dentelles front and rear. Collates 294 pp.: [6], xv, [1], 144, [4], plus 62 ff. monochrome plates on japon vellum, printed rectos only, each with tissue guard. Spine faded, extremities rubbed and worn, splitting of first quire at title page, otherwise a fine copy, strong and unmarked. Some printing in red (including titles and opening ornamental initials).
